I started hand building with clay in middle school art class.   When I got to high school I did some wheel throwing but had a lot of room for improvement. In college I started taking ceramics classes whenever I could fit them in between my Biology major classes and abroad trips. During breaks and vacations I would rent space at the Brattleboro Clay Works in Brattleboro VT.  After graduation I attended an eight week throwing, altering, and atmospheric firing class with Tara Wilson, Kenyon Hansen, and Ryan Mitchel.  I took a two week class at Haystack with Josh Deweese, Ryan Mitchel, Ryan Strobel, and Mathew Jorgensen.  I started being a member/renter at Sharon Art Center in Sharon NH in late 2012 and continue to work there.  I have started to sell my work at Hannah Grimes am looking into starting to sell on ETSY in the near future.
